Do you find when trying to open a PDF from a URL the PDF fails to open, or you’re asked to download the file, save to your computer and then open it?

It’s worth checking a few things as there is a workaround provided by our IT department.


In Internet Explorer, make sure you have the Adobe reader add in installed and enabled.

If you’re using Google Chrome, you can use the the Chrome PDF viewer and you can install it without Admin rights on your UoC PC.
